Just a reminder that while most of our listings are for relatively small quantities, 12, 25, 50, you can either purchase multiple lots of an item or e-mail for a custom listing of a larger lot. We just sent out lots of 200 and 300 of the window tins. Folks are using them as containers for party favors for their holiday parties, or to fill with small candles and then put out many clusters of 4-8 candles for atmosphere.

We have just gotten in three new tins.

All are seamless, so they have no sharp edges. They are food grade with an FDA approved gloss varnish on all surfaces.

First is the 1/2 oz round tin. It is 1.5" across x .5 inches tall. This one is on sale for 40% off regular price through Columbus Day weekend on Etsy and eCrater.

Next is a round tin with a window lid. This holds about 3.25 oz. It is 2.75 inches across by 1 inch tall. The clear plastic window allows you to see the contents and makes a great container for a small gift or a candle.

Not only is it great for mascara, but it works really well to clean airbrush tubing!

What do different size sifter jars hold?

Are you confused about the different sizes of sifter jars and what they hold?

You are not alone!

It is very confusing because the "Gram Size" is calculated by WATER weight. Powder (Mineral Makeup) is much lighter.

For example, the Bare Escentuals Eyeshadows come in a jar that is about the size of a 10 Gram Jar yet the BE jar reads .57 Grams (just over 1/2 of a Gram) but it would NOT fit into a 5 gram jar. Little confusing huh?

Here is a description of the sizes of sifter jars we carry.

3 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/4" across and 5/8" tall. Our 3 gram jars are double walled, so the exterior measurements are very close to those of the 5 gram jar, but the interior is smaller. They hold about 1/4 teaspoon of product below the sifter.

5 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/4" across and 3/4" tall. They hold about 1/2 Teaspoon of product below the sifter.

10 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/2" across and 3/4" tall. They hold about 1 Teaspoon of product below the sifter.

20 Gram Jars - They are 2" across and 3/4" Tall. They hold about 2 Teaspoons of product below the sifter.

30 Gram Jars - They are 2" across and 1" Tall. They hold about 3 Teaspoons of product below the sifter.

Not all jars that have the same capacity are the same dimensions. For example, the 3 gram jars we carry are double walled and therefore almost the same exterior dimension as the 5 gram jar. There are 3 gram jars that are single walled and therefore smaller in diameter and height.Also note that the sifters take up a considerable amount of the jar. The jars will hold a lot more (sometimes close to twice the amount of product) if you don't use the sifter.

If you are not sure what size you need, try one of our samplers. Available with either clear or black lids, they contain one each of the 3, 5, 10, 20 and 30 gram jars.

International buyers welcome!

To all our existing and new international friends, eBid is the place for you. For a variety of reasons (mostly ease of their system) you will find international shipping prices available on all of our items, in all lot sizes!

There have been some limitations in the past on other sites, like not having international as an option on larger lots. That is not an issue on eBid!

For those of you in Italy (and other countries where it is an issue) customs form will never use the words cosmetics or make-up unless you actually by make-up! We list our jars as "round plastic containers", the tins as "slide top tins" and do specify that the lip balm tubes are "empty", so order with no fear. (You are still responsible for whatever customs fees there might be)

Has it really been 2 weeks since we posted? We have been crazy busy! Yes, that is a great thing! For those of you wondering about larger orders, we do them. In fact we just shipped an order for over 100,000 brushes, so please don't be limited by the listing you see in our stores. We can and will do large orders.

Also, we are proud to be carrying a new disposable eyeliner brush, with Taklon bristles. Taklon is a great soft synthetic bristle, so this brush is completely animal free. These are direct from the factory in bags of 100 brushes, so any order in multiples of 100 is an option.

Confused about sifter jar sizes?

Are you confused about the different sizes of sifter jars and what they hold?

You are not alone! It is very confusing because the "Gram Size" is calculated by WATER weight. Powder (Mineral Makeup) is much lighter.

So if you have a Sifter Jar direct from the company that came with Mineral Makeup in it and it says it contains 12 Grams of Mineral Makeup - it is NOT going to fit into a 20 Gram Jar.

For example, the Bare Escentuals Eyeshadows come in a Jar that is about the size of a 10 Gram Jar yet the BE jar reads .57 Grams (just over 1/2 of a Gram) but it would NOT fit into a 5 gram jar. Little confusing huh? The best thing is to look at the dimensions of the jars to see what size is best for you.

Here is a description of the sizes of sifter jars we carry.

3 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/4" across and 5/8" tall. Our 3 gram jars are double walled, so the exterior measurements are very close to those of the 5 gram jar, but the interior is smaller. They hold about 1/4 teaspoon of product below the sifter.
5 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/4" across and 3/4" tall. They hold about 1/2 Teaspoon of product below the sifter..
10 Gram Jars - They are about 1 1/2" across and 3/4" tall. They hold about 1 Teaspoon of product below the sifter.
20 Gram Jars - They are 2" across and 3/4" Tall. They hold about 2 Teaspoons of product below the sifter.
30 Gram Jars - They are 2" across and 1" Tall. They hold about 3 Teaspoons of product below the sifter.

Not all jars that have the same capacity are the same dimensions. For example, the 3 gram jars we carry are double walled and therefore almost the same exterior dimension as the 5 gram jar. There are 3 gram jars that are single walled and therefore smaller in diameter and height.

Also note that the sifters take up a considerable amount of the jar. The jars will hold a lot more (sometimes close to twice the amount of product) if you don't use the sifter.
